Education and Training

Education and training in the Center is multifaceted with a primary focus on biomedical engineering design, development, enterprise and entrepreneurial training and mentoring. The Center coordinates with several degree and training programs within Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering and the Geisel School of Medicine, including undergraduate and post bachelor's internships, and advanced training in the Master, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Fellow experiences.

Special opportunities exist for admission to the engineering PhD Innovation Program, Surgical Innovation Training, MD/PhD Program, and Medical Physics for qualified doctoral applicants and current students.

National outreach opportunities exists in software development and training through the NIRFAST project, national conferences in imaging, the annual SPIE BiOS Molecular-Guided Surgery Conference and future workshops.
